Warehouse - Supervisor

Our growing company is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor, with aviation experience, to strategically manage warehousing, and all other associated functions in compliance within the company's vision and policies.

In this role you will; (a) be responsible for developing and executing goals specific for the department including performance driven KPIs, (b) direct receiving, warehousing, and distribution services, and (c) evaluate the results to choose the best solution for the department's overall success.  Your ability to coach, counsel, and assess job results effectively with clear direction through various forms of communication will empower you and your team to meet production schedules and goals.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will also be responsible for:

• Maintaining receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.

• Ensuring space utilization of warehouse set up and layout to maximize receiving, storing and distribution of parts in a timely and efficient manner

• Complying with FAA warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by remaining apprised of existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

• Safeguarding warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

• Controlling inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.

• Continuous evaluation and improvement(s).

• Creating reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, etc.)

• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.

• Completing warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

To perform successfully as a Warehouse Supervisor, we are looking for the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in logistics, supply chain management strongly preferred or combination of education and equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of Logistics or Supply Chain management required

• Excellent personal skills, with experience showing collaboration with a diverse group of individuals and departments.

• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.

• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives within a warehouse and parts environment.

• Ability to complete math and basic financial computations with accuracy.

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite expressly with Excel.  Working knowledge of an MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system required; Corridor software a plus.

• Bilingual (French/English and other languages an asset).
