Due to continued growth, Flying Colours Corp. is recruiting a Tool Crib Attendant for a rotational schedule in their facility located in Peterborough, ON, CA.
General Accountability
The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for the inventory, calibration, control and documentation of all company tools.
Specific Accountabilities
- Receives, stores, and issues handtools, machine tools, materials, and equipment.
- Issues tools and equipment to employees and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned, manually and/or using computer.
- Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
- Prepares periodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment, manually or using computer.
- Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
- Inspects and measures tools and equipment for defects and wear, visually or using micrometer, and reports damage or wear to supervisors.
- Repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment. May deliver tools or equipment to employees.
- May mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.
- Develops and maintains Ground Support Equipment Maintenance Schedules
- Manages Calibrated Tools to ensure all are kept within their calibration dates
- Ability to work a rotational schedule that includes weekends.
Experience and Education Requirements
- Completion of Secondary Education.
- Background/Understanding of Aviation Maintenance an asset.
- Prior tool crib operator experience desired.
- Manufacturing or Tooling experience/familiarization desired.
- Must be proficient in using MS Excel.
- Basic computer skills required in Word, Outlook etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and follow direction with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and written.
