GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY

This position will receive, store and issue parts, equipment and expendable item used by personnel in the building of aircraft cabinetry.    Responsible for the receiving of goods,  inventory control and documentation of all company tools.  Assist in stocking and maintaining inventory in parts and tool rooms. 

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following job tasks:

  • Receives, stores, and issue materials and equipment.
  • Issues tools and equipment to employees and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned, manually and/or using computer.
  • Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming materials, tools and equipment. Requisitions stock to replenish inventory.
  • Issue material and parts to personnel based upon receipt of work order; enter work order into inventory system to relieve inventory of stock.
  • Pull parts and ready for employee pick-up.
  • Organize parts room and counter area as needed.
  • Participate in the annual inventory of stock and reconcile inventory with physical count.
  • Performs other assigned duties that include, but are not limited to, stocking, cleaning, customer service, truck loading/unloading, delivering and inventory management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Regular periods during which physical effort is required, e.g., walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
  • Exposure to factors such as temperature variations/extremes, moderately loud noise, fumes, moving machinery, humidity, and hazardous chemicals.
  • Frequent need to give concentrated attention, either hearing, seeing, visualizing, drafting, to what is happening and work being performed.
  • Work environment can be repetitious / unchanging at times. 

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 2 years customer service experience. Prior aviation parts experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year computer experience; Corridor Software knowledge preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

SKILLS/COMPENTENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to multitask.
  • Entry level to Intermediate PC skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (orally and through written communications) with staff on all levels of the organization, clients and the general public.
  • Ability to complete basic math computations accurately.
  • Fluent level of English.
