We are seeking a recruiter responsible for assessing candidate qualifications to fill existing or potential vacancies. Full understanding of the roles we are recruiting for and nuances between roles, clients, and local laws and regulations.

Your Job

You will make a difference to the success of this independently owned business as you define, develop, plan and implement recruiting strategies and provide a qualified candidate pool. This role requires project management and recruiting experience, Aerospace preferred.

Compensation

We offer a competitive total compensation package, including competitive wages and benefits. based on your years of experience. This role is a hybrid position. Working Hours

This is a full-time (FT) 40-hour-a-week position. Hours will change based on business operational needs and flexibility is required. This is a hybrid role with some travel required.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work-related experience, Aerospace Preferred. HR Certification (SHRM-CP)

  • Proven ability to successfully perform all aspects of recruiting including competitive market research, cold calling, internet searches, negotiating, and closing candidates

  • Successfully achieve results in a fast-paced, metrics and deadline-driven environment

  • Ability to meet and exceed performance expectations and goals, as well as implement feedback to achieve the desired outcome

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially able to communicate complex ideas in a way that is easy to understand

  • Ability to prioritize time and work effectively, keeping recruiting pipeline in consideration at all times. Additionally, must be able to confidently communicate pipeline to others

  • Strong focus and commitment to continuous improvement

  • Ability to execute recruitment strategies

  • Easily embraces change and demonstrates flexibility when direction or priorities shift

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency, including intermediate MS office skills and strong social media presence

The Details

Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.

  • Assists in the development of professional relationships with college, university, and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.

  • Directs the efforts of employment agencies and search firms including negotiating and controlling employment-related fees.

  • Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff as a source to generate qualified applicants.

  • Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants. Screens and refers qualified applicants to the hiring manager for interviewing. May provide initial screening for managers to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.

  • Arranges travel and lodging for applicants, if necessary

  • Conducts reference and background checks.

  • Corresponds with job applicants to notify them of opportunities.

  • Maintains records on recruiting activities as required.
