Seeking: Quality Support Specialist

Attention to detail, meticulous organizational skills, and love of compliance. We have the job for you! We are seeking a QA Support Specialist to juggle high-level administrative tasks in an efficient and organized manner with professionalism and a high degree of discretion, tact, and communication.

Your Job

You will make a difference in the success of this independently owned business as you oversee documentation maintenance, which includes heavy data entry, in support of the inspectors and technicians within our quality department.

Working Hours

This is a full-time (FT) 40-hour-a-week position. Hours will change based on business operational needs and flexibility is required. This position is onsite. Must have the flexibility to work second or weekend shifts.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED. Administrative certification or degree required or equivalent level of applicable work experience.

  • 5+ year's prior administrative experience.

  • Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external contacts, including other executives, politicians, dignitaries, etc., and maintain strict confidentiality.

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Outlook, Word PowerPoint, and Excel including creating, updating, and maintaining spreadsheets, macros, formulas, pivot tables, presentations, etc.

  • Must be able to demonstrate initiative, exercise independent judgment, and have flexibility.

The Details

Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform specialized administrative duties required to support the specific responsibilities of the management using discretion and exercising confidence.

  • Complete any special projects or other tasks as required or assigned. May be assigned to other areas of operations, based on business or customer requirements.

  • Assist in the development of new or evolving document forms, procedures, processes, etc.

  • Performs work in a productive, diligent, careful, and safe manner.

  • Detecting and reporting unusual or non-conforming documentation, materials, conditions, or product to Manager, Quality Operations.

  • Ensuring the inspection records, reports, and forms used by the repair station are properly executed prior to releasing products.

  • Performing company audits per Flying Colours Corp quality auditing system to ensure conformance with company processes.

  • Interacting with supervisors and technicians for updates/changes to customer work scope, and assisting leads and supervisors in coordinating the distribution of required documentation.

  • Reviewing Work Order prior to releasing the aircraft.

  • Coordinate and publish Maintenance policy manual updates, and transfers to the company intranet.

  • Quality Policy Manual updates (draft and submit for review / final approval of Manager, Quality Operations.

  • Administer company FAA Drug and Alcohol program.
