QA Support Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible to administratively support the Quality Operations Department overseeing the documentation maintenance, which includes heavy data entry, supporting inspectors and other technicians in the quality department.
The Incumbent will provide the QA Management team by displaying impeccable attention to detail and the ability to juggle high-level administrative tasks in an efficient and organized manner. In this role, the incumbent will also maintain the utmost level of professionalism and exercise a high degree of discretion, tact and communication while interacting with company employees and management as well as high-end clients and other such outside entities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Perform specialized administrative duties required to support the specific responsibilities of the management using discretion and exercising confidence.
  2. Complete any special projects or other tasks as required or assigned. May be assigned to other areas of operations, based on business or customer requirements.
  1. Assist in development of new or evolving document forms, procedures, processes, etc.
  2. Performs work in a productive, diligent, careful and safe manner.
  3. Detecting and reporting unusual or non-conforming documentation, materials, conditions, or product to QC Manager.
  4. Ensuring the inspection records, reports and forms used by the repair station are properly executed prior to releasing products.
  5. Performing company audits per Flying Colours Corp quality auditing system to ensure conformance with company processes.
  6. Interacting with supervisors and technicians for updates/changes to customer work-scope, and assist leads and supervisors in coordinating distribution of required documentation.
  7. Reviewing Work Order prior to releasing the aircraft.
  8. Coordinate and publish Maintenance policy manual updates, and transfers to company intranet.
  9. Quality Policy Manual updates (draft and submit for review / final approval of Director, Quality Operations.
  10. Oversee company FAA Drug and Alcohol program.
  11. Edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by Director, Quality Operations, other technical staff or FCC personnel.
  12. Provide administrative and coordination support for the Safety Management System (SMS).
  13. Coordinate and track all Training program information and data for department and associated QA/HR files.
  14. Coordinate and publish Maintenance policy manual updates, and transfers to company intranet.
  15. Quality Policy Manual updates (draft and submit for review / final approval of Director, Quality Operations.
  16. Ensuring that all inspections and maintenance are properly performed in accordance with the appropriate technical data and the Company's Repair Station Manual.
  17. Ensuring that articles undergoing repair or overhaul by the repair station are properly identified, and that current data is being used.
  18. Ensuring the repair station is operating within the Federal Aviation Regulations, and the RSM.
  19. Other duties not specifically covered herein but otherwise assigned.
