Our growing company is actively seeking a Logistics Clerk to join our team.  In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing and issuing parts, equipment and expendable items used by personnel in the maintenance, and repair, of aircraft.   You will also assist in stocking and maintaining inventory in parts rooms.  Additionally, you will be required to have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) as you will transport parts, material, and finished goods to different locations and customers within the US and Canada.

As a Logistics Clerk, you will also be responsible for:

• Issuing material and parts to personnel based upon receipt of work order; enter work order into inventory system to relieve inventory of stock.

• Pulling and dispersing parts to personnel.

• Organizing parts room and counter area as needed.

• Participating in the annual inventory of stock and reconcile inventory with physical count.

• Other duties as needed to stocking, cleaning, customer service, truck loading/unloading, delivering and inventory management.

To perform successfully as a Logistics Clerk, we are looking for the following:

• High school diploma required

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required with prior experience driving box trucks and transporting material / goods.

• Minimum of 1 year of computer experience; Microsoft Office and Corridor experience preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience. Prior aviation parts experience preferred but not required.

The work environment for a Logistics Clerk, may include but is not limited to the following:

• Regular periods during which physical effort is required, e.g., walking standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

• Exposure to factors such as temperature variations/extremes, fumes, moving machinery, humidity, and materials which can cause periods of discomfort.

• Frequent need to give concentrated attention, with one or two senses at a time, where stimuli are changing.

• Occasional direct and indirect pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands.
