Our growing company is actively seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. In this role, you are responsible for planning and performing all human resource assignments in accordance with company policies and practices to assure compliance to government regulations, applying uniform judgment in interpretation of company policies related to organizational structures, wages and benefits, associate classification, employment, job postings and HR Process Improvement activities

We're looking for a passionate individual with a strong Human Resources background who is willing to be a team player while working independently.

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will also be responsible for:

  • Manage and perform human resource duties, such as recruitment, office administration, and new hire orientation.

  • Communicate and coordinate with Human Resources Director to implement human resources processes.

  • Performs various compliance audits (e.g. classification and wage) to ensure objectives of EEO and AAP goals are met. Keeps abreast of significant laws and regulations to provide appropriate ongoing assistance

  • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to recruiting metrics and established goals.

  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.

  • Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations.

  • Ensure that federal and state laws are consistently followed and that complaints are resolved in a timely manner.

  • Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques

  • Recommend ways to improve our employer brand

  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs

  • Supervise the recruiting team and report on its performance.

  • Participate in job fairs and career events Build the company's professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners

  • Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs

To perform successfully as a Human Resources Generalist, we are looking for the following:

  • High School Diploma required with a minimum of a 2-year college degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management required

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related degree program or equivalent experience within the HR field strongly preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the HR field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of diversified human resources experience including recruitment for managerial, professional, technical and production positions

  • Working knowledge of applicable government regulations and laws including; EEO, OFCCP, and AAP.

  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Applicant Tracking Experience; AAIM Track experience a plus.

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of both Federal and State regulations.

  • Proven communication and interpersonal relations skills required.
