Seeking: Avionics Supervisor

Your Job
You will make a difference in the success of this independently-owned business as you complete projects that our customers value. The role involves the coordination, scheduling, and activities of area operations, the overall performance of their crew, and fulfilling some technical or operational on-the-job tasks.
Compensation
We offer competitive compensation between $40 and $45 basic pay per hour plus benefits. Please note that applicants for these positions must have current status to work in the United States of America to be considered for this opportunity.

Working Hours
This is a full-time (FT) 40-hour-a-week position. Hours will change based on business operational needs, and flexibility is required:
- Day Shift: 7 am to 3:30 pm
Experience and Education Requirements

Completed training in a vocation or technical school at a college level and/or combination of education and experience. Electronics and/or Avionics training is required.

A minimum of 3 to 5 years in a leadership or mentorship role. Expressly displaying the ability to lead a team in a production environment successfully.

A minimum of 8 years' basic on aircraft avionics maintenance installations. Moderate understanding of general job aspects is a plus.
The Details
Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Monitor any issues to ensure production targets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and quality standards meet customer requirements.
- Ensure that all in-process inspections and processes are being properly accomplished and documented.
- Supervises Avionics Department, Installers, and Technicians.
- Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate activities of the shop area. Verify all equipment and tools assigned to the shop area are serviceable and in working condition.
- Manages overall work-in-progress and makes necessary adjustments to personnel and resources.
- Provides technical advice and assistance to staff and customers regarding avionics sales, installations, and repair.
