Seeking: Avionics Installer

Out with the old installations and in with the new! Our Avionics installers specialize in the removal and installation of panels, components, interiors, and the installations of avionics and electronics systems. If your passion is ensuring the proper function of an aircraft electrical system and you enjoy encouraging others to reach their full potential, our Avionics team is seeking you.

Your Job

You will make a difference in the success of this independently-owned business as you complete projects that our customers value. The role involves the removal of old wiring and installation of new wire bundles, troubleshooting and evaluation of avionics systems, and proficiency in stamping, bundling, and installing connectors on wiring.

Working Hours

This is a full-time (FT) 40-hour-a-week position. Hours will change based on business operational needs and flexibility is required:

  • Day Shift: 7 am to 3:30 pm

Experience and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma. Electronics training classes. Avionics training is preferred.

  • Minimum of 1 year's basic on aircraft avionics maintenance installations. A moderate understanding of general job aspects is a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of an MRP (Material Resources Planning) system is strongly preferred; Corridor software is a plus.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation.

The Details

Primary duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Stamp, bundle and install connectors on wiring.

  • Removal of old wiring and installation of new wire bundles in aircraft.

  • Troubleshooting and evaluation of avionics systems on the aircraft when designated.

  • Aircraft movement and assistance in hangar stack when required.

  • Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling when required.

  • Work independently on projects when required.

  • Work within a team process.

  • Complete records of work done to sustain an accurate record system.

  • Able to work in confined spaces and elevated heights when required.
