Accounting Clerk

Our growing company is actively seeking a motivated Accounting Clerk who is excellent at multi-tasking with exceptional communication and time management skills. In this role you can expect to assist our Finance Department in performing routine clerical accounting functions while following appropriate procedures to ensure timely and accurate preparation.

As an Accounting Clerk, you will also be responsible for:

• Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail.

• Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.

• Basic bookkeeping and accounting payable processes.

• Data entry along with a knack for numbers using Excel.

• May be required to perform other duties as needed.

To perform successfully as an Accounting Clerk, we are looking for the following:

• High School Diploma/GED and some college coursework

• Relevant experience in similar or related positions with specific experience in accounting.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Work well in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills.

• Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.

• Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
