Our growing company is actively seeking an experienced Crew Lead - Interior Installation to join our team.  In this highly specialized role, you will seek methods to cross train to develop the crew in which you are responsible while safely and efficiently removing, installing, and/or fabricating aircraft interiors, to meet customer expectations, in accordance with company design specifications and quality standards.

As the Crew Lead - Interior Installation, you will also be responsible for:

  • Disassembly modification, assessing repairs, removals, installations and/or fabrication of corporate aircraft interiors.

  • Removal, breakdown, re-installation and/or fabrication of seats, carpets, interior paneling, windows, galley, lavatory, insulation and sound proofing systems.  Using care to protect the oxygen, water, waste, entertainment systems, emergency systems and equipment.

  • Coordinating with supervisors and QA to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs and quality specifications.

  • Utilizing company material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and to sign-off work.

  • Following standard operating procedures when using and caring for shop tools and equipment.

  • Working both in an aircraft cabin and in hangar on various shifts and overtime as needed.

  • Familiar with the function, operation and safety requirements of aircraft passenger support systems. Including ability to use hand/power tools and equipment for installation and removal of interiors.

To perform successfully as the Crew Lead - Interior Installation, we are looking for the following:

  • High School degree and/or a related trade certificate at the college level and a minimum of 5 years as an Aircraft Interiors Installer

  • You may be required to travel up to four weeks per year.

  • A high attention to detail not only for the purposes of appearance and ergonomics, but also for safety.

  • Able to understand and follow direction with minimal supervision.

  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documentation

  • Ability to trouble-shoot and problem solve.

The work environment for the Crew Lead - Interior Installation, may include but is not limited to the following:

  • Regular periods during which physical effort is required, e.g., walking standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

  • Exposure to factors such as temperature variations/extremes, fumes, moving machinery, humidity, and materials which can cause periods of discomfort.

  • Frequent need to give concentrated attention, with one or two senses at a time, where stimuli are changing.

  • Occasional direct and indirect pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demands.
