This position will be responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling items into a predetermined kit to support production activities. Other inventory and warehousing tasks will take place as required.



This position will assist the Parts Kitting Specialist with, but not limited to, the following job tasks:

  • Retrieve and interpret Lists of Material and obtain containers required to build the kits assigned
  • Pick and count parts, then assemble kits 100% accurate to the list of materials
  • Build kits according to the schedule provided
  • Label the kits and kit parts with appropriate information as provided
  • Follow the correct kitting, and parts / paperwork tracking procedures
  • Place / issue complete kits in the correct location for production according to the schedule provided
  • Perform bin maintenance as scheduled
  • Place received material in the correct bins daily
  • Affix new labels to bins as required
  • Support production personnel as required to ensure production flow
  • Prepares periodic inventory manually or using computer
  • Perform required data entry required using various computer programs
  • Assist with the data entry of timecard information, and other administrative duties as assigned
  • Communicate/interact with fellow employees to foster teamwork, safety, and a diverse culture
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Regular periods during which physical effort is required, e.g., walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
  • Exposure to factors such as temperature variations/extremes, moderately loud noise, fumes, moving machinery, humidity, and hazardous chemicals.
  • Frequent need to give concentrated attention, either hearing, seeing, visualizing, drafting, to what is happening and work being performed.


  • Work environment can be repetitious / unchanging at times. 


    • High school diploma required
    • 0-1 years' experience handling parts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.  Prior aviation parts experience preferred.
    • A minimum of 0-1 years of computer experience; Corridor and Microsoft Office experience preferred.


  • High School Diploma or GED


  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Intermediate PC skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (orally and through written communications) with staff on all levels of the organization, clients and the general public.
  • Ability to complete basic math computations accurately.
  • Fluent level of English.
