Administrative Assistant QA/Training

Flying Colours Corp. is seeking a professional and highly organized individual to fill the role of Administrative Assistant in our Quality/Training department.  This position is located at our facility in Peterborough, ON, CA.

Job Description
The Administrative Assistant will assist in the planning, scheduling and coordination for all company and regulatory training processes. This includes acting as the liaison between management and staff ensuring the flow of communications and interpretations of training policies and procedures throughout the organization.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Data entry projects including maintenance of Core Competency matrixes for multiple departments.
  • Maintenance of Training Database(s).
  • Maintenance of Training records electronic and hard copy.
  • Maintenance of Training Manuals.
  • Maintenance of Training Plans for all new hires/transfer  
  • Work in concert with department managers to ensure completion of initial training packages by end of probation period; setting targets for training not completed in a timely manne
  • Track and monitor recurrent training schedules. Advise department managers of required/overdue training.
  • Participate in both internal and external audits of the Training program.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate level with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience developing needs assessments and training programs an asset.
  • Understanding of AS9100 and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Aviation experience an asset.

  • Ability to work autonomously and provide progress reports.
